BASTET comes to life

What is the goal of BASTET?

The aim of our project is to create a storage system that will help households and the entire energy grid. The device, which will utilize surplus energy from photovoltaics, will reduce energy bills and at the same time relieve the transmission system during peak periods.

For us, the BASTET project is more than just technology. It is a step towards energy self-sufficiency, the efficient use of renewable resources, and, above all, a more sustainable future that we can create ourselves.

We are collaborating on development with the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň, where our first physical prototype is being created. The university is constructing the first actual thermal storage facility and measuring its actual capacity, heat loss, and energy transfer efficiency. All measurements should confirm months of careful calculations and bring BASTET closer to practical use.

Who is BASTET intended for?

In the initial phase, BASTET is targeting projects by private investors who are building modern, energy-efficient houses.
The system offers:

  • energy-efficient heating with a long storage time,
  • efficient domestic hot water heating,
  • the possibility of maximum utilization of surpluses from renewable sources,
  • reduced operating costs, and greater self-sufficiency.

BASTET will enable homeowners to use the energy they already have available and convert it into long-term stored heat—without complicated maintenance, without the risks of lithium batteries, and with a minimal ecological footprint.

Next step: industrial companies and manufacturing plants

We are currently preparing to implement larger industrial versions with significantly higher thermal capacity.
These solutions will be designed for:

  • companies with high energy consumption,
  • industrial sites with their own electricity generation,
  • companies looking for stable, safe, and economical heat storage.

The industrial version of BASTET will help balance fluctuations in consumption, reduce excess production losses, and lower overall energy costs.

Want to be part of it? Join the first BASTET partners

We are looking for partners who want to take advantage of the benefits of next-generation heat storage.
Cooperation is open to:

  • private investors planning to build energy-efficient homes,
  • builders and developers looking for a competitive advantage in modern technologies,
  • design offices that want to integrate advanced heat storage into their projects,
  • PV plant operators and suppliers dealing with overflows and unused production surpluses,
  • industrial companies that need to stabilize consumption and reduce costs.

If you want to be part of the first wave of implementations or have a project where BASTET can add value, please contact us.
